In this section, Make  Every WomanCount (MEWC) has gathered initiatives that are happening in  the local, national and international level related to Women in general  and particulary African Women. The announcement section includes a range of  activities from individuals, Organisations such as surveys, primary  research and dialogues with policy  makers, petitions, conference,   demonstration, opinion, Statement, Call for papers, etc..
The section aims to be a resource for all different types of opportunities to engage women in women’s rights issues.
Make Every Woman Count would like you to join its efforts to contribute to the global campaign to end gender violence "Militarism and Sexual Violence Against Women in Africa."

Jalila Khamis a Nuba Woman Activist , is going to be presented to the  court in central Khartoum  courts compound on September 27, 2012 , the  judged of the court is judge Mohammed Alamain . The national  intelligence and security services NISS presented Jalila to the  prosecutor of the crime against the state on July 29th , 2012  fro the first time after they filed report against her on the articles  50 and 51 of the Sudanese Criminal Act of 1991 both articles  are crimes  against the state and punished by death .
